Desraj, a resident of Badhni Kalan town near Punjab’s Moga district, was hacked to death by assailants armed with sharp-edged weapons in full public view on Saturday, June 4. ASP Sarfaraz Alam said that the culprits have been identified and they will be arrested soon.
A young man was beaten and murdered by armed assailants in broad daylight in public view in Badhni Kala town of Punjab’s Moga district on Saturday, June 4. This comes just days after popular rapper Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by men with automatic rifles in Punjab’s Mansa district.
The incident was caught on CCTV cameras at the location. Onlookers also recorded videos of the incident. Giving more information about the incident, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sarfaraz Alam said that some men, armed with sharp-edged weapons, attacked Desraj alias Desu, a resident of Badhnikala.
“Some of the culprits have been identified. Raids are on and they will be caught soon,” said ASP Sarfaraz Alam.
The bloodied young man was lying on the road for a few minutes. After that, he was taken to the government hospital in Moga, where doctors declared him brought dead.
